December 1-5, 2004 Christmas Tree Festival Allen County Museum, Lima, Ohio.	Dozens of decorated trees are displayed. The Children's Museum will offer special activities and there will be entertainment, a bake shop, boutique and refreshments. The festival is from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day. December 1-31, 2004 Winterfest various venues, Talkeetna, Alaska.	Most events are on the weekends, and include games and contests, a parade, dog sled races, arts and crafts and a treasure hunt. Details: Call 907-733-2330.
December 2-3, 2004 Community Candlewalk Main Street area, Flushing, Michigan.	More than 5 miles of candles light the downtown as festival-goers enjoy carriage rides, choirs, magic shows, hayrides and roasted chestnuts. Santa arrives in the parade and leads the way to light the town Christmas tree. Locals participate in tree and home decorating contests and they decorate gingerbread houses. December 3, 2004 Living Windows Downtown, Monmouth, Illinois.	People present living holiday scenes in store windows after a downtown parade. Santa and Mrs. Claus come to town, and costumed carolers stroll the area. A living nativity scene will be displayed on the square, and there will be food and beverages available. A raffle offers gift certificates and other prizes, and festival-goers can buy greenery for decorating, enjoy carriage rides and taste roasted chestnuts. Once upon a time there was a man with a gentle voice and quiet charm. He made several movies and worked in a TV show playing a character who rode a motorcycle from town to town, touching lives, and singing a little here and there. Then some of us didn't hear much of him for awhile. We wondered if he would ever come to sing for us again.
Michael Parks is singing, and he recorded 17 songs for us to enjoy, including: I'll Never Be Free Basin Street Blues Don't Go To Strangers Easy Street This CD was a long time coming, but it was worth waiting for. Take a trip to Listen Recordings where you can order your copy.
